About the Role

Healthrix is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our medical billing team. The AR Specialist will manage accounts receivable functions, including billing, collections, and resolving outstanding claims efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies, government agencies, and other third-party payers.
• Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues.
• Investigate and resolve claim denials, rejections, and discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as coding and revenue cycle, to streamline billing processes and improve collections efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, insurance policies, and billing procedures.
• Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances to ensure timely payment.
• Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurance.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Excellent organizational skills
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience
