We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Security Professional responsible for managing, monitoring, and enhancing the overall security posture of our hybrid network and server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and secure Windows Server 2019 Active Directory Domain Controller, user accounts, and GPOs.

• Implement and enforce endpoint security on Windows 10/11 clients using antivirus, EDR, and security policies.

• Configure and maintain pfSense firewall, VPNs (site-to-site and client-based), NAT, IDS/IPS, and access control rules.

• Request and follow up on medical records, police reports, and insurance information.

• Oversee Cisco Layer 3 and Layer 2 switch configurations, VLAN segmentation, port security, and traffic monitoring.

• Administer wireless network security, WPA3 policies, and RADIUS-based authentication.

• Manage and analyze alerts from Security Onion and Wazuh SIEM, correlate logs, and respond to incidents.

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, patch management, and penetration testing coordination.

• Develop & maintain incident response, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.

• Maintain documentation, security reports, & compliance logs in alignment with HIPAA and ISO 27001 principles.

Required Competencies

• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration and Active Directory security.

• Proficiency in pfSense configuration and Cisco networking (CCNA/CCNP level).

• Experience with SIEM platforms (Wazuh, Security Onion, ELK Stack).

• Knowledge of firewall rule design, VLANs, IDS/IPS, DNS filtering, and VPNs.

• Understanding of HIPAA, NIST, & ISO 27001 compliance standards.

• Skilled in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) with strong analytical & incident response skills; certified or pursuing Security+, CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Security, and ISO 27001.
